Materials:
Worsted weight yarn - about 1 ounce (estimated) per square.
US crochet hook size G
Yarn needle
Finished Size - Approximately 9 inches square (depending on your crochet style)
Stitch Notes:
Cluster (CL) = (Yo and pull up a loop, yo and through 2 loops on hook) 3 times, yo and through remaining 4 loops on hook.
Beginning cl = Ch 2, (yo and pull up a loop, yo and through 2 loops on hook) twice, yo and through remaining 3 loops on hook.
Corner cl = cl, ch3, and cl in space indicated.
Rnd 1: Ch 4, join in first ch to form a ring. Ch 3, work 11 dc into ring, join with a sl st in top of beginning ch 3. (12 dc)
Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in same st as joining, (ch 2, sc in next dc) 11 times, ch 2, join in first sc. (12 sc & 12 ch sps)
Rnd 3: Sl st into next ch sp, work beginning cl in same sp, (ch 3, cl in next ch sp) repeat around, end ch 3, join in top of beginning cl.
Rnd 4: Sl st into next ch sp and work beg cl, ch 3 and cl all in same sp, *(ch 3, sc in next ch sp) twice, ch 3** corner cl in next ch sp, rep from * around, ending last repeat at **, join in top of beg cl.
Rnd 5: Sl st into next ch sp and work beg cl, ch 3 and cl all in same sp, *(ch 3, sc in next ch sp) 3 times, ch 3** corner cl in ch sp of corner cl, rep from * around, ending last repeat at **, join in top of beg cl.
Rnd 6: Sl st into next ch sp and work beg cl, ch 3 and cl all in same sp, *(ch 4, sc in next ch sp) 4 times, ch 4** corner cl in ch sp of corner cl, rep from * around, ending last repeat at **, join in top of beg cl.
